
Thomas comes to us from Cortland in Dallas, where he serves as an Investment Analyst for the largest apartment owner in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. During his tenure, Thomas evaluated over $20 billion in multifamily investment volume, built financial projection models used to monitor asset-level performance against business plans, and modeled capital allocation scenarios that supported five profitable cash-out refinances. He also prepared investment briefs, committee materials, and investor reports for executive team members, fund investors, and joint venture partners.
Prior to Cortland, Thomas spent nearly two years at Capstone Companies as an Investment Sales Advisor/Analyst, where he sourced over $600 million in acquisition and disposition opportunities, underwrote more than 450 multifamily and manufactured housing deals, and personally sourced Capstone's first collection of closings in the state of Texas. He began his career at Waller Group Capital as a Junior Associate before being recruited to help open Capstone's Dallas office. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas Christian University and resides in Dallas, Texas.
