Blake Shannon joined Brazos Residential as the Chief Investment Officer in September of 2022. He has over a decade of private equity commercial real estate experience. Most recently, he oversaw the Texas and Oklahoma regions for Monarch Investment and Management Group, one of the largest owner/operators in the country. During this time, he was responsible for all acquisitions, dispositions, financing and operations for his region. He has experience in all multifamily product types ranging from value-add workforce housing and LIHTC properties to new construction lease-ups.
Blake brings an ability to navigate nuanced transactions and locate opportunities in today’s evolving multifamily environment. His multifaceted background gives Brazos a competitive advantage when targeting opportunistic acquisitions.
Blake received his BS/BA from the University of Denver in Finance. Blake resides in Denver, Colorado.
